On 15 May 2024, Mr Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Pre-school and Sport, visited the stand of the Foundation for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage of Rabat at the SIEL.
The Minister took the opportunity to look at the creations made by students as part of the Foundation’s educational programmes, in particular the magazine “Roya”, the first of its kind in Morocco.
The Minister was also briefed on other Foundation programmes, such as the Heritage Digitalization programme and the Foundation’s workshops.
At the same time, the Minister was briefed on podcasts produced by the Foundation as part of its mission to raise awareness of the importance of heritage and the need to preserve it.
Attracting many visitors, this vibrant and colourful stand showcased the work of the young participants.
The stand quickly became a focal point for meetings and exchanges, strengthening the links between the Foundation, educators, students and the literary community.
