On 11 May, the Foundation for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage of Rabat, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, organised a collective workshop for children taking part in the ‘I draw my heritage’ educational programme in the children’s area at SIEL. The workshop will bring together more than 100 children targeted by the programme, with the aim of raising awareness of heritage through cultural and artistic education.
The Foundation organised an educational trip for children from Taroudant to Rabat to take part in the group workshop, visit the SIEL and see the historic sites of the Kingdom’s capital.
The Foundation also launched its first educational programmes in Taroudant, ¨I discover my heritage – Taroudant¨ and ¨I draw my heritage – Taroudant¨, on the sidelines of the Al Haouz earthquake, to raise awareness among young people of the importance of safeguarding tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
